Shankar Trades World Pty Ltd (STW) is a family business established in 1992 in Sydney, Australia. STW has been involved in importing natural stone products. Products include granite, marble, sandstone and limestones. The Managing Director, Shankar Thambi-rajah who holds a Masters degree in Marketing Management along with his Partner and wife Thulasi who hails from an accounting background have been fully involved in the business and travelled extensively to develop the business since its inception.

STW has been growing steadily from its humble beginning and has grown to a prominent supplier of natural stones to the building industry in Australia. The reason for the success has been emphasis on understanding trends, consultation with its stakeholders such as architects. interior designers, builders, project managers, installers, manufacturers and quarry owners.
Our Process
STW does not act as an agent for any particular company. Based on the project requirement each and every project is handled separately right from rough block selection, fabrication, packing and transportation. STW employs qualified quality control inspectors who inspects as per project specifications for dimensional accuracy, colour consistency and packing. Every project undertaken is carefully analysed for its pros and cons and suitable measures are put into place to complete the tasks to the utmost satisfaction of its clients.
